Panna cotta with apple and honey sauce (GF)
I'll be back, I promise.
1 vanilla pod
For the sauce:
Bring to the boil, add the agar-agar and cook for 3 minutes while stirring constantly with a whisk.
Wash the bowls you are going to use with cold water, dry quickly and pour the mixture into them.
Keep in the fridge for a few hours till the Panna cotta settles and becomes firm.
To make the sauce peel and core the apple.
Put the apple in a sauce pan together with the water and honey and cook covered till the apple is very soft. Check from time to time to see that you have enough liquid in there and the apple doesn't burn.
When the apple is cooked blend it with the liquid to a smooth paste.
To take the Panna cotta out of the bowls dip them in a big bowl of hot water for a few seconds. If that doesn't work you can use a knife to release one side, but do that very gently.
Turn onto a serving plate and serve with the sauce.
