Cherry rice pudding (GF)
Well, let me be honest here for a second: we picked about 10kg of cherries from my in-laws cherry tree so this festival HAS to happen, lol.
For the next 6 days I will post 6 recipes with one common ingredient, yes, you guessed right - cherry.
70g rice pudding
1tbsp maple syrup
Add the rice, stir and reduce the heat to the lowest you can.
Close the lid and let it cook for approx. 40 minutes, while stirring once in a while.
Taste to see that the rice is cooked through. Depending on how sweet your cherries are you'll might need to add some honey or maple syrup.
Pour into a bowl (or a few if you like) and leave it cool for about 10 minutes.
Mix the yogurt with the maple syrup and pour on top of the rice.
