Apple cinnamon crumble
Our entire household is ill, husband with a cold and a cough, little one #1 with a cold, little one #2 with bronchitis. Like I said, winter.
One of them is a man, an adult. A sick adult man, that's a rough combination. I know that women who sit now in front of their computer and read this nod.
Man flu is the worst kind to have and if you are going to ask a man, he will tell you that it's the worst illness of ALL.
I really don't understand why researchers put so much effort in finding a cure to cancer, they should rather try and cure man flu!
It has always been like that, since the beginning of time, I can imagine, that men couldn't handle having a cold and women complained about it. If they had children then the woman would always say the same sentence: "when I have a flu I can't just lie in bed, I have to keep looking after the kids, do the laundry and cook". Am I right? You nod again.
I bet 10 generations from now women will still say that sentence and will still be frustrated.
Well, we can conclude - men are impossible and women are repeating themselves endlessly.
You nod again.
40g honey + more for drizzling
1tbsp cinnamon + more for sprinkling
100g butter + a bit more (it needs to be very cold, straight from the fridge)
Chop the apples to big cubes and spread them in a baking dish (I used a Pyrex). Drizzle some honey on the apples, sprinkle a bit of cinnamon and put a few knobs of butter.
Mix flour, 1tbsp of cinnamon and 40g honey. Cut the butter into cubes, add to the flour and rub it into it till the mixture resembles sand.
Spread the flour mixture over the apples and bake for 30 minutes.
